This week's Workout wrap-up is brought to you by Tribe Sports.
Confession time: During the cold season I tend to forget that I have legs to take care of, e.g., forgetting to shave, moisturize, and exercise them. The other day I tried on the cutest pair orange scalloped shorts and realized that my legs haven't seen the light of day in months. I know I know. YIKES
So now I've been in search for the perfect lower body workout. If these ladies are going to be dry and pale(don't worry, I'll shave them,) then at least they can be nice and toned.
And so began an epic Pinterest search. Try typing in "leg workout" in their search bar and you will see why I had trouble picking just one workout to start with. Luckily, the first one I tried turned out to be spectacular. SCORE.
Target Areas: Legs and core. You should be using those abs in every exercise.
Intensity: 4/5. Some of these exercises took extra effort to finish, but as long as I took a little break between each one I was a-ok.
Boredom factor: 1/5. Just during those dreadful jumping jacks. But at least my heart rate was going.
Soreness factor: 4/5. I could walk the next day, but bending down was another story. You may need to go a little easy the first time you try this.
And the verdict is....
I will definitely added this one to my rotation. Here are my 3 reasons why you should give it a try:
1)It's really short and there's no equipment necessary. Great for when you're too busy to go to the gym.
2) I had a great time pretending to be a ballerina while doing these exercises. I highly recommend it.
3) It's very easy to change up this workout to fit your needs.
Now get off you're computer and get moving.
